Admissions
The Local Education Authority determines the school’s admissions policy.
St Peter's C of E VC Primary school serves a coachmen area, and children living within that area are given preference when deciding admissions to the school.
The Annual Admission Limit (AAL) is set by the LEA after consultation with the Governing Body and is reviewed every year.
Currently, up to 70 pupils will be admitted in any school year.
PLEASE NOTE: Attending St Peter's Nursery does not guarantee your child a place at St Peter's C of E VC Primary School.
An application must be made to the Education Authority on an ‘Admission Preference Form’
- available on request from the school office.
Catchment Area
The LEA thinks it is important that schools should serve their local communities and so each one has it's own catchment area.
However, parents are required to express a preference, stating their choice of school, even if this is the catchment area school.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure that there will be a place for every child in their catchment area school, it cannot be guaranteed that this will always be the case.
